Dawn’s glowing light doesn’t do much to hold the tide of sleep at bay, but you can’t afford to get caught here. You chuck your shovel in the backseat and begin to drive.
It won’t stick for long. It never has. The corpse has always shambled back.
For now, though, you have time. You can relax. You sigh, adjust the rearview mirror–
shit fuck shit fuck shit
Its eyes meet yours.
“Once upon a time, there was a dead man.”
“Compelling start,” the corpse remarks, and you swivel to point the shovel at it.
“If you interrupt me, I won’t tell the story. So shush.”
It scowls, but mimes zipping its lips, settling back.
You turn back to your shoveling. “Once upon a time, there was a dead man. He was clever, and quick, and talented, and, in the end, it had not been enough.
You finish your cup of coffee, grimacing at the burnt flavour, and set it aside in favour of the shovel. There’s a lot of digging to do if you want to get this hole finished by dawn.
“Tell me a story,” the corpse sitting in your passenger seat says, cold, dead eyes staring you down. “It’s only fair, you know.”
“Fair.” You almost laugh. “Alright, then. Here’s your story. Once upon a time, there was someone in the middle of nowhere burying a body.
Disclaimer:
While the commands below are for Arch Linux, you can do this on Debian distros too, you’ll just need to translate the commands. I believe sudo apt install is your version of sudo pacman -S, but don’t quote me on that.
I assume you have pacman, yay, and sudo available.
Installing Dependencies Docker:
sudo pacman -S docker Wget:
yay wget-git Docker Setup Install the run-mtgo script:
wget -O run-mtgo https://raw.

Of course you’ve always had it, the label on your forearm. Your parents didn’t splurge for the Stork Premier package, so you’re stuck with the in-unit advertising. A lot of people don’t shell out to Stork, after all, money’s too tight for too many people these days, and buying a longsleeve shirt is cheaper than paying for Premier.
The etched words, like they’ve been burned into your flesh, have always said “COMING SOON”, and you’ve gotten used to it.
